Daffodil Lino Print

I've just finished working on a new daffodil reduction lino print. Here's how I made it...

First, an image in my sketch book.

Next, I transferred the design onto lino.

I cut out the design and printed a layer of light yellow ink.

I then cut more lino away from the block, I cut away anything that I wanted to stay light yellow. I then printed again over the top in a darker yellow.

Next I cut away any part that I wanted to keep dark yellow. I then printed over the top in light green.

Another layer of ink in dark green and it's finished! A limited edition of 20 prints. £15 each including a white 8x10 inch mount and p&p. : )

Prelude To Spring- an exhibition in Teignmouth!

I currently have some of my lino prints in an exhibition in TAAG, Northumberland Place in Teignmouth, South Devon. There are 22 local artists exhibiting... pop in if you are passing : )
